Dundao becomes the BAL all-time leader in minutes played

Childe Dundao has become the Basketball Africa League (BAL)'s all-time leader in minutes played, overtaking Ater Majok.

The Petro de Luanda point guard began the 2026 BAL season in second place in the rankings for minutes played.

However, after four games of the Kalahari Conference, the 27-year-old had played an additional 106.22 minutes, bringing his total to 1,050.

Dundao is one of the few players to have played in every BAL season since its inception in 2021.

Other players who have never missed a BAL season and have registered high playing times include Ater Majok, Abdoulaye Harouna and Solo Diabaté.

As of April 2026, Majok, who was part of the 2022 BAL-winning US Monastir team, had played 1,012.63 minutes.

Diabate, a two-time BAL champion with Zamalek and US Monastir, has played 929.38 minutes, and Harouna has played 812.45 minutes.
