Kalahari Conference reaches record 38,677 fans

The Basketball Africa League (BAL) reached another milestone during the recently concluded Kalahari Conference in Pretoria, South Africa.

Not only did the BAL celebrate its 200th game, but it also witnessed huge fan attendance at the 15 games played at the SunBet Arena.

Since the Kalahari Conference was first held in Pretoria in 2024, it has grown rapidly, setting a new attendance record of 38,677.

Compared to the 2025 Kalahari Conference, attendance increased by just over 8,000.
